Kick off the holiday season with a presentation of “King of Kings!” at Candlelight Carols 2025 December 5 and 6! Moody Bible Institute’s downtown Chicago campus will be stirring with Christmas spirit as alumni, students, families, friends of Moody, and local residents gather for this beloved musical tradition.
As in years past, you’ll enjoy concert performances by Moody Chorale, Moody Gospel Choir, Moody Campus Orchestra, the Ecclesia and EverPraise Worship Collectives, and the One-O’Clock Jazz Band. You’ll also be moved by an absorbing original drama performance, “The Prodigal Prince,” written and directed by Moody Professor Bethany Lee.
That’s not all—be sure to arrive early or stick around afterwards for a holiday extravaganza! We’ll have food trucks, a Christmas market, a Festival of the Arts, and an interactive Christmas experience for your kids! Come before the concert and stay late to savor the full Candlelight Carols experience
